What is this
Side-by-side comparisons of the typography, color, spacing, and button options on the table for the Tactics rebuild. The Missing Link PDP shipped a starting palette — that's our v0, but nothing here is locked. Pick what works → it gets logged in docs/Brand-Kit.md as 🤝 Aligned → the homepage rebuilds with the chosen tokens.
Mobile-first — this page (and the homepage) is designed to look right at 375px first, then 768px, then 1280px. Resize your window down to verify.
Palette
v0 lifted from the Missing Link PDP. Stress-test against the homepage hero, marquee, and category cards before locking. Open question: is chanterelle the right primary-CTA orange, or do we test a brighter signal orange / a more neutral burnt?
🔬 ExploringHeadline candidates
Same headline rendered in 5 candidate stacks. Pick whichever feels most like Tactics — sport-condensed (Bebas) reads aggressive, Anton has more grotesk character, Oswald is more refined, Archivo Black is sans-only modern, Inter Black is single-family minimalist.
🔬 ExploringStanding Sideways Since 1999
Tall, condensed, single-weight, sport-stencil energy. Reads loud — works for hero shouts, may overpower H3s.
Standing Sideways Since 1999
Heavier than Bebas, more grotesk character. Reads like an editorial sports magazine. Closer to Druk feel without the license.
Standing Sideways Since 1999
More refined, less stencil. A bit more "outdoor brand" than "skate hardware." Pairs cleanly with Inter body.
Standing sideways since 1999
Sans-only system: same family for display + body. Modern, neutral, less "theme-y." Works with mixed case (no all-caps required).
Standing sideways since 1999
Maximum minimalism: Inter at 900 for display, Inter at 400 for body. Removes a font request, removes a personality lever. Safe choice; arguably too safe for boardsports.
Body specimens
Same paragraph at 14 / 16 / 18px in Inter, plus an Inter Tight comparison. Body type rarely needs much exploration — pick a base size that holds at our line lengths.

UI mono candidates
The eyebrow + chip + UI label voice. PDP went all-in on Overpass Mono — a strong stylistic move but also a third font request. Worth comparing alternatives or dropping the mono lane entirely.
🔬 ExploringSpacing scale
PDP didn't commit to a real scale — values were ad-hoc. Proposing a 12-step scale below. Bars are scaled to actual pixels; on mobile larger steps may overflow the cell visually (intentional — shows their relative weight).
🔬 ExploringCTA gallery
Four variants × three sizes. Hover states are real — try them. All sizes meet the 44px touch-target minimum on mobile. Open: is filled-orange the primary affordance everywhere, or only at conversion points (PDP, cart)?
🔬 ExploringContainer widths
Three candidate max-widths. On mobile every container hits 100vw minus gutters — these widths only matter at desktop. Resize to see how each holds up.
